NEWS!

We are now fast approaching Winter, although it kind of feels that summer just hasn’t happened! However, this is a lovely time of year. The trees and bushes are full of fruit and the evenings are drawing in. The trees are turning colour and the mornings will soon be frosty. Soon it will be time to light the fire in the evening and cosy up with a nice glass of red. Lovely!!

As usual there are plenty of new additions to the shop and the website. Pride of place is our DVD “Teenage Witchcraft – a beginners guide”. Don’t be fooled by the title, it’s a DVD suited to all ages 16 – 116!! Jacqui had a great time making it and its selling well through the shop. She has tried to make the information within the DVD accessible to all people and it takes the beginner through buying ritual tools, casting a circle, performing a ritual of dedication and the consecration of magical tools to mention but a few topics. Work on the next DVD starts this September and should be out early next summer.

With Samhain just around the corner we have got a lovely selection of scrying mirrors and bowls. The hand blown glass scrying bowls are wonderful. The inside of the bowl is black-mirrored glass so you can use it as it is or fill it with water and use it that way. We also have a selection of hand made scrying mirrors in beautiful hand carved wooden frames. Also we have black hand blown Cornish glass mirrors in their own boxes. These have to be seen to be believed. They really pull you in.

We are now selling a couple of CD’s. The first is by our wonderful friend and Archdruid of Glastonbury, Dreow Bennett, and is entitled “Dreaming the God”. This is an amazing CD full of powerful and beautiful God chants, all but two tracks written by Dreow himself. His voice is rich and strong and sends shivers through you. Our personal favorites are “The Mabon” and “Adonis”, but all tracks have a power of their own. Personally, we think its time that an album dedicated to the God has been a long time in coming!

The second CD, is from another Glastonbury local, Jana Runnalls. This is also a CD full of amazing chants, dedicated to both the God and the Goddess with the theme of the elements running through it. A great CD to buy, learn the chants from and use in your own rituals.

We have a selection of new candles made by us and by our friend Linda. Particularly popular is Linda’s Moon Gazing Hare candles. Our own are in sets of threes and include a set for Prosperity, Home Blessing, Healing, and Astral Temple.

Finally, let us apologise for the severe lack of Forum! This was a very popular feature of the site and was used regularly. It has been “down” for some time now due to technical hitches and the lack of time to sort it out. We will be trying our best to get the forum up and running by the end of September – fingers crossed. So to all those people who have emailed us - just a little patience for a little while longer. Thanks!
