Witchcraft Emporium

A New Year has dawned and we are looking forward to a creative 2009 here at Witchcraft Emporium. 2008 was a busy year for us and we hope that this coming year brings more of the same.

The website has looked a little tired of late so Sarah is working hard to freshen it up a little. She works hard on the website and it always receives many compliments.

New on the site are these lovely hand blown Witch/Spirit balls. They are a new version of an old idea. Simply give them to friends and family to hang in their windows to bring in luck and banish negativity. They look so beautiful when they catch the light.

We have just received 4 beautiful Athames hand crafted for us by an amazing craftsman called Daniel. Each one is absolutely unique and comes in its own carved box made from Holly. These are simply some of the nicest Athames we have come across and the work, time and effort that has gone into the crafting of each one is apparent when you feel the energy that comes off them.

We have also added some more music to or media section, three more wonderful CD’s that are selling well in the shop. The first is “Enchantress” by Gypsy – a Witch from Salem who writes some lovely chants and songs that are thoroughly inspiring. Slightly closer to home is the CD “Sacred Home” by Glastonbury singer and musician Jana Runnells. This CD has some amazing chants with a very tribal and magical feel. Lastly but not least is a new CD called “Astarte” by Oak. Oak is one of our local PF friends and this CD contains both traditional songs and new ones written by Oak himself. Well worth a listen.

With Spring just around the corner (no – really!) we have some really lovely Moon Gazing Hares in. These are a smaller size than the hugely popular ones we have in the shop, but like the others they are fully weather proof and will look fab either indoors or out.

New to the candle section are some lovely Moon Gazing Hare candles and some fantastic spiral candles. Choose from wonderful titles such as Druids Oak, Dark Fae, Morrigan, Tranquility and more! These burn beautifully and make ideal gifts.

The Courses page has been woefully neglected and I am in the process of sorting out new courses and dates for 2009. At the moment though we are advertising a Labyrinth Course, run by my good friend and teacher, Graci Chacon. Graci comes from the Basque Country in Northern Spain and what she doesn’t know about Labyrinths isn’t worth knowing! I have attended her courses myself and they have completely blown me away. She has also come over to the UK to run courses for my Coven and each and every member has felt the same way!
